Terms1. Acknowledgement of Risk Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a combat sport involving physical contact, grappling, throws, joint locks, chokes, and other techniques. Injuries may occur, including bruises, sprains, strains, joint injuries, fractures, or loss of consciousness. I voluntarily choose to participate and accept these inherent risks. 2. Personal Responsibility & Conduct I confirm that I am physically and medically fit to participate. I am responsible for my own physical safety and agree to train in a controlled manner. I agree to follow all coach and instructor instructions at all times, tap early when necessary, and respect training partners. 3. Liability Limitation (Dutch Law) To the extent permitted under Dutch law, the academy, its owners, instructors, staff, and training partners are not liable for injuries resulting from normal participation or inherent risks of BJJ. This does not exclude liability for intent (opzet) or gross negligence (bewuste roekeloosheid). 4. Medical Treatment & Costs In case of injury or medical emergency, I consent to necessary medical assistance and understand that I am personally responsible for any medical or related costs incurred.

Getting Here

Pound for Pound Scheveningen is located a short walk from Scheveningen tram stops (lines 1 and 9) and within easy reach of Scheveningen Haven and the beach promenade. Free street parking is available nearby in the evenings, with a public parking garage a few minutes' walk away. Bicycle racks are available directly outside the academy.
